We look forward to welcoming you here where we can showcase our heritage with pride. In the spirit of First Nation’s traditions, our intention is to provide a gathering place where the focus is on the people and the food. Founded in 2010 by Remi Caudron and Inez Cook. Inez is now the sole owner as of 2019.
Salmon n' Bannock is situated on the unceded traditional territories of the xʷməθkʷəy̓əm (Musqueam), Sḵwx̱wú7mesh (Squamish), and səlilwətaɬ (Tsleil-Waututh) Nations.
Our current staff proudly represent the following First Nations: Anishinaabe, Enoch (Maskekosihk,) Haisla/Metis, Heiltsuk/Kitasoo/Xai'xais, Kitchenuhmaykoosib Inninuwug, Kwakwaka'wakw/Cree, Lil'wat, Muskoday, Ocean Man First Nation/Nakota, Secwepemc (Neskonlith,) Nuxalk, Shoal Lake (Oji-Cree,) Squamish/Nisga'a/Sto:lo/Kanaka, Tla'amin, Ts'msyen and Yellowknives Dene.

Meet
The Owner
Inez Cook grew up in Vancouver B.C. and is a proud member of the Nuxalk Nation in Bella Coola B.C. She is the Co-founder and Owner of Salmon n' Bannock Bistro. She is also the author of the children's book ''The Sixties Scoop'' When she was growing up, she always knew she would own a restaurant. Her dream is to create a space where you travel to a different place. It's a place close to the heart and a place close to home. It's also right in our back yard.
